A hidden gem in Asakusa
This quaint ryokan offers a unique blend of tradition and comfort. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Senso-ji Temple and the Tokyo Sky Tree. The hosts are cute, providing assistance with luggage. Free coffee and tea in the common area seemed like a thoughtful touch after long days of exploring.
The building does show its age. The floors creak, which might be unsettling for light sleepers. The toilet is of the old style, missing modern conveniences that many are accustomed to. The lack of in-room waste bins was inconvenient, as the shared bins felt a bit distant.

Charming traditional atmosphere that adds character.
Unfortunately, my room was a bit unsettling. It didn't have any windows, leading to a somewhat claustrophobic experience. The noise from the creaking floors and doors was incessant. A door was opened mistakenly while I was away, raising my security concerns about the locking system, quite disappointing. Lastly, the sink only provided cold water for hand washing.

The traditional vibe created a warm atmosphere, including Senso-ji Temple. The room was spacious, offering ample room for luggage and a true Japanese experience with tatami floors. The noise from creaking floors can be quite noticeable, and the bathroom setup felt a bit outdated with limited privacy. There were times when the Wi-Fi connection proved unreliable, a hassle during planning excursions.

The Japanese-Style Twin Room was super cozy with comfy beds. The overall vibe was very traditional, giving you that authentic ryokan feel. Plus, it was warm and inviting, especially during winter. I noticed the wooden floors had their own rustic charm. Just a heads up, the rooms can feel a bit dated, but that adds to the character.
